Ron Paul Delivers America

What may be the most embarrassing moment yet for Mitt Romney, during the race for the 2012 Republican Nomination, happened over the weekend in the very state in which he is the former Governor and calls home.

Ron Paul won.

Even though it was reported Sunday that Mitt Romney himself was apparently responsible for picking the slate of Massachusetts State Delegates he was hoping everyone would vote for, his delegates.

Unfortunately for Mitt Romney, that didn’t happen.

Instead, over half of the delegates he was hoping people would vote for never made it, including notable State Republicans such as the House Minority Leader and other state politicians who even wanted to remain nameless.

Romney lost so badly in his home state that Ron Paul supporters were even voted in as the majority of the Alternate-Delegates, spiting hopefuls that included a popular 2010 gubernatorial candidate and a prominent Sheriff.

Even worse for the old Republican establishment is that all these new Mass. State Delegates for Paul will now get to vote for the State Party Chair, the Party Platform, and the VP of their choice. Bet your bottom dollar they will all most likely be Ron Paul Delegates, supporters and ideals.

Massachusetts, however isn’t the only state that has seen this explosion for Ron Paul support.

As the race has developed many states around the country have ultimately gone for Paul, much in the same way. Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado, Louisiana and Alaska thus far have seen similar results play out there, and many more states are expected to follow suit.

This overwhelming show of support for Ron Paul is also expected to dominate Nevada’s State Convention on May 5th.

The main reason is because Ron Paul supporters have been the most dedicated and the most educated on the GOP nomination process and have also been the most willing participants in their post-Caucus and post-Primary delegate selection processes around the country.

Now that Paul has won the majority of the delegates in at least 5 states he is also assured to have his name on the ballot during the RNC in Aug.

In addition to the incredible outpouring of support for Paul and his campaign, the fact that he is now a shoe-in to be on the ballot and have a platform at the National Convention is worrying the establishment very deeply and gives new life to a candidate who was once thought to have no chance of being the party’s nominee.

 As Professor Quigley, the 20th century liberal, apologist for big government, and Bill Clinton’s mentor, wrote in his 1975 testament to the Washington empire:

“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and politics of the Right and Left, is a foolish idea the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. It should be possible, to replace one party with the other party which will pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policy.”

Which party has given us lower taxes and less government?

Which party has stopped deficit spending, foreign aid, welfare, BANKSTER BAILOUTS and other boondoggles?

Which party has PROTECTED the United States from foreign enemies, terrorists, and illegal aliens (at least as well as they are defending the New World Order’s power grab in other countries)?

The difference between Republicans and Democrats is the specific explanations that they give, for WHY we are headed into totalitarianism.

Yes, they are identical on every issue, sometimes word for word.

 Today, the Virginia legislature once again approved House Bill 1160 (HB1160), what many refer to as the NDAA Nullification Act. The support was overwhelming, again. In the House today the vote was 89-7 and the Senate concurred a few hours later, 36-1.

The bill “Prevents any agency, political subdivision, employee, or member of the military of Virginia from assisting an agency of the armed forces of the United States in the conduct of the investigation, prosecution, or detention of a United States citizen in violation of the United States Constitution, Constitution of Virginia, or any Virginia law or regulation.”

According to an inside report, bill sponsor Delegate Bob Marshall spoke twice in support of the bill on the House floor today. Delegate Barbara Comstock (a long-time Patriot Act supporter) invoked Michael Chertoff and others as high government officials opposing HB 1160. Basically, she said state legislators have no business questioning the federal government.

Marshall responded with citations to a CRS report demonstrating the vagueness of the law, and its effort to circumvent the Treason Clause. He also noted that state legislators are to be watchdogs against the Federal Government.

In the Senate today, Senator Dick Black (R-Loudoun) and Senator Chap Petersen (D-Fairfax) spoke in favor before the final vote.

THE FULL STORY

HB1160 originally passed the Virginia house in February by a vote of 96-4. It went to the Senate where opponents tried to hold it over until next year, effectively killing it. The vote was a tie- and failed. In two short days, thousands of grassroots activists contacted their Senators to support the bill and the next vote, taken quickly, was a different story – 39-1.

With minor amendments, the bill needed to go back to the House for approval. A number of parliamentary maneuvers were used to stall and kill the bill. Various votes to delay (“pass by”) actual approval were held. Eventually, the House rejected the Senate amendments and the bill was sent back to the Senate for another consideration.

Again, the grassroots got on board – and activists from groups across the political spectrum called and emailed their Senators to move the bill forward. The Senate, after a few days of jousting, “receded” from their original amendment by a vote of 37-1 in March, effectively passing the original House bill from the previous month.

HB1160 then went off to the Governor’s desk. Inside sources had been telling us at the Tenth Amendment Center that Governor Bob McDonnell did not want to sign this bill. Vetoing would certainly keep him in a good place with the establishment who supports NDAA detentions, but would also be a slap in the face of a huge portion of his own state’s population, considering the massive outpouring of support from the people there.

McDonnell had until mid April to sign or veto the bill. On the very last day, after some strong behind-the-scenes work by supporters and sponsors, the Governor announced that he recommended some minor amendments – and he would support that version of HB1160.

The bill’s sponsor, Bob Marshall, released the following statement:

Over the past few weeks, Governor McDonnell has heard from a number of Virginians regarding House Bill 1160, sponsored by Delegate Bob Marshall. During the consideration of this legislation and since its passage, he has expressed both the shared concern that Virginia does not participate in the unconstitutional detention of U.S. citizens and the desire that this legislation does not impact legitimate law enforcement activities.

Preserving public safety is the foremost priority of any government. Every day, state and local law enforcement personnel work together and work with the federal government to keep Virginians safe by fighting crime, responding to emergencies, and combating terrorism. The governor believes we must encourage and promote these collaborative efforts while ensuring that core constitutional principles enjoyed by all U.S. citizens are respected. He believes these standards are expected by all Virginians and want to take appropriate steps to reaffirm that position. In the governor’s view, this legislation now accomplishes that goal.

Since the legislation’s passage, staff has worked with the patron to come up with amendments that will achieve the goal of not supporting unconstitutional detentions while preserving the ability of law enforcement and our state defense forces to carry out their responsibilities. The amendments Governor McDonnell sent down achieve those goals, and Delegate Marshall has expressed his support for them. The governor hopes the General Assembly will support them, as well.

The bill is now expected to be promptly signed by Governor McDonnell.

May the other states now follow the lead taken today by Virginia.

UPDATE – according to sponsor Bob Marshall, because the legislature passed the bill as recommended by the Governor, a signature is not required. HB1160 becomes law on July 1st.

A concerted effort has been afoot for some time to merge local police with federal authorities to respond to the implementation of citizen spy “snitch” programs. This has been best illustrated by the role of threat fusion centers, which are integrating data from public and private sources alike — even universities.

The FBI has now made public their “Communities Against Terrorism” Suspicious Activity Reporting flyers.

I myself have seen documents like this as a former retail store owner.  One day, roughly 10 years ago, I received a flyer in my mailbox informing our establishment that we were to submit a “Suspicious Activity Report” for anyone paying with large amounts of cash (I believe it was $2,000 or more at the time).  I proceeded to throw it directly into the garbage where it belonged. I did inform my clients, though, rather than inform the “authorities” as I was directed. However, these SAR’s have clearly become much more widespread than my tiny retail shop, infiltrating nearly every facet of life in America.

Listed below are all 25 known flyers that should be read in their entirety if one wishes to discover just how far the United States has traveled in its attempt to replicate a level of citizen snitches not seen since the Stasi of East Germany.

I have included a very short summary of each .PDF, with an embedded link in the title,  to serve as a general guide of who is a potential terrorist suspect.

Let us never forget that this system of control needs our cooperation if it is to succeed.  We have to accept personal responsibility for how much further this slide toward tyranny is going to take us; and that starts by getting informed, and informing others of the extent of their plan.

1. Airport Service Providers — Includes on-craft providers: baggage, cleaners, cargo, catering, mechanics, ground crew, food service, cleaners, security, taxi, limos, and shuttles.
2. Beauty/Drug Suppliers — People who have burn marks, missing limbs, travel a long distance, nervous, who are picked up, make illogical requests (even of consumer-grade products).
3. Bulk Fuel Distributors — New customers not from the area, those using cash for large transactions, nervous, large purchases, having a rental vehicle.
4. Construction Sites — People with environmental slogans and/or anti-government slogans, banners or signs that threaten or imply violence.
5. Dive/Boat Shops — New customers reluctant to provide complete personal information, customer who does not have certification, using cash for expensive transactions, extended rentals, appearing uninterested in safety rules, experiencing guarded behavior.
6. Electronics Stores — Person who alters appearance from visit to visit (changing hair color, shaving, etc.), fills a “shopping list” of components while lacking knowledge about their use. Pays cash for large purchases.
7. Farm Supply Stores — New customers not from the area, nervous or impatient, suspicious inquiries regarding equipment specifications, failing to state legitimate use for supplies, rental vehicle, cash for large transactions.
8. Financial Institutions — No evidence for legitimate business activity, those with multiple accounts, banks, parties, and jurisdictions (layering).  Mixed deposits (money orders, third-party checks, and/or payroll into a business account).  Large volume of wire transfers, or repetitive patterns, shell entities, “pass through” points by foreign jurisdictions.
9. General Aviation — Taking flying lessons but appear uninterested, renting under vague reasons for doing so, requests to fly over specific locations without substantiated reason, taking pictures or videos of potentially sensitive locations, actions outside the norm, parking near the perimeter of airport, asking questions without substantiation.
10. General Public — Basically everything exhibited by those with an inquisitive nature: questions, note taking, drawing, annotating maps, inappropriate photos or videos, people in places where they do not belong.
11. Hobby Shops — Interest in remote-controlled aircraft, interest that does not seem genuine, possessing little knowledge of purchase, exhibiting unusual interest, exhibiting no interest, using cash for large transactions.
12. Home Improvement and Large Retail Stores — Large quantity of ammunition, firearms and ammunition out of season, combination of unusual items, interest in night vision and camouflage apparel, purchases of pipe fittings and supplies, rental vehicle, refusal to complete firearms paperwork, using cash for large transactions.

Shopping Malls – Wearing backpacks, discreet use of cameras, note-taking, or video over an extended period, several men arriving together then splitting up, continuing to communicate (dry run?), speaking to security guards, comments regarding radical theology, vague or cryptic warnings, or anti-U.S. sentiments that appear out of place and provocative.
16. Martial Arts/Paintball — Insist on paying with cash, travels long distance to participate, interest in learning offensive moves in a confined space, learning the use of hidden weapons, learning kill and restraint techniques with no occupational need, group training, uttering racist, religious, unusual, anti-US, or vague and cryptic warnings, close combat training, paintball tactics of ambush or kidnapping scenarios, operating a private facility, converting large plots of rural land to conduct these activities.
17. Mass Transportation — Altering one’s appearance, exhibiting burns, bleached body hair, concealed wires, nervous, actions suggesting use of a hidden camera, unusual comments, questioning security/facility personnel via normal means of communication, groups arriving together then splitting up and communicating via cell phone.
18. Military Surplus — Demanding identity privacy, insisting on paying with cash, suspicious comments, bulk purchases.
19. Peroxide Explosives — Unknown customer, individual requesting more information.
20. Recognizing Sleepers — Arrival from countries where violent militant Islamic groups are known to operate, long unexplained absences, fury at the West for reasons ranging from personal problems to global policies of the U.S., conspiracy theories about Westerners (e.g. the CIA arranged for 9/11 to legitimize the invasion of foreign lands), accusing the West of trying to destroy Islam.
21. Rental Cars — Reluctance to provide complete personal information, using cash, unusual questions.
22. Rental Properties — Using cash for large transactions, inquiries about local sites, refusing maintenance or service over extended time, not using property for intended purpose, unusual number of package deliveries, unusual amounts of traffic, discovery of unusual items.
23. Rental Trucks — Reluctance to provide personal information, cash for large transactions, inquiries about renting a truck with a wooden floor, questions about vehicle specifications.
24. Storage Facilities — Failing to provide complete personal information, using cash to pay fees in advance, placing unusual items in storage, disposing of tools, gloves, masks, or clothing, discarding clothes or shoes in new condition, avoiding contact with rental facility personnel, accessing facility an unusual number of times, storing items that emit unusual odors or leak liquids.
25. Tattoo Shops — Demanding identity “privacy,” paying cash, altering appearance (beard, hair style, hair color, style of dress, etc.), making racist or extreme statements, suspicious comments that suggest or appear to endorse violence in support of a cause, repeated returns with multiple individuals requesting identical tattoos, inquiries about unusual methods of tattooing or placement which could allow the concealment of extremist symbols.

These flyers also state an additional note about how you can be a part of the solution:

• Require a valid ID of all new customers.
• Keep records of purchases.
• Talk to customers, ask questions, and listen to and observe their responses.
• Make note of suspicious statements, people and/or vehicles.
• If something seems wrong, notify law enforcement authorities.

As a former store owner in one of the categories above (and a martial arts practitioner), I suggest that you completely disregard the suggestions of these reports.  Instead, I would urge common sense, reliance upon your innate “gut instincts” that nature has provided as a tool to determine what is truly wrong beyond these catch-all guidelines.  And, lastly, realize that preventing terrorism is not a “community effort” under the direction of bloated bureaucrats and their overlords. Preventing terrorism, whether State-sponsored via false flag or legitimate, should be the role of each individual’s power of discernment. It’s more efficient, more honest, and more effective.

It is the utmost duty of individuals to speak out against unsubstantiated fear mongering and the usurpation of power based on upon exaggerated threats. These exaggerated threats are often designed to lead to a paranoid culture that can be easily swayed by manipulated emotions instead of critical thinking. Furthermore, violence, coercion, and threats of consequences for non-cooperation with State dictates are the hallmarks of historical tyranny.

Finally, let’s not forget what the mere accusation of terrorism means in today’s world: indefinite detention without a trial, torture, and the end of our unalienable rights.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Anti-government extremists opposed to taxes and regulations pose a growing threat to local law enforcement officers in the United States, the FBI warned on Monday.

These extremists, sometimes known as “sovereign citizens,” believe they can live outside any type of government authority, FBI agents said at a news conference.

The extremists may refuse to pay taxes, defy government environmental regulations and believe the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard.

Routine encounters with police can turn violent “at the drop of a hat,” said Stuart McArthur, deputy assistant director in the FBI’s counterterrorism division.

“We thought it was important to increase the visibility of the threat with state and local law enforcement,” he said.

In May 2010, two West Memphis, Arkansas, police officers were shot and killed in an argument that developed after they pulled over a “sovereign citizen” in traffic.

Last year, an extremist in Texas opened fire on a police officer during a traffic stop. The officer was not hit.

Legal convictions of such extremists, mostly for white-collar crimes such as fraud, have increased from 10 in 2009 to 18 each in 2010 and 2011, FBI agents said.

“We are being inundated right now with requests for training from state and local law enforcement on sovereign-related matters,” said Casey Carty, an FBI supervisory special agent.

FBI agents said they do not have a tally of people who consider themselves “sovereign citizens.”

J.J. MacNab, a former tax and insurance expert who is an analyst covering the sovereign movement, has estimated that it has about 100,000 members.

Sovereign members often express particular outrage at tax collection, putting Internal Revenue Service employees at risk.

FBI Attempts to Make ‘Libertarians’ the Poster Children for Domestic Extremism

As the definition of a domestic extremist continues to expand to include activists for peace, animal rights, currency, natural health, liberty and other noble causes, the FBI is ready to make an example out of one group in particular: Libertarians.

The FBI held a press conference Monday to “increase the visibility of the threat” that people who oppose taxes and regulations, government intrusions into their private property, and the desire for sound money allegedly pose to local authorities. Although the FBI vaguely attempts to label this group as ”sometimes known as ’sovereign citizens’”, the description sounds an awful lot like me, and millions of other liberty-minded people in America that don’t associate with any group.

Notice the resolute use of the word “extremists” but the vague description “sometimes known as sovereign citizens.”  Yet the description that these “extremists may refuse to pay taxes and defy government environmental regulations” sounds more like General Electric than average liberty activists who the FBI clearly seems hellbent on demonizing.

Additionally, the official mission for Sovereign Citizens is to “Protect Property Rights and American Civil Liberties.”  As fierce protectors of property rights, they take environmental damage quite seriously.  Many would argue that an environmental policy governed by property rights is far more effective than the bloated EPA which is wholly owned by corporate polluters.

“Sovereign members often express particular outrage at tax collection, putting Internal Revenue Service employees at risk,” Reuters assumes.  Yet, choosing not to pay taxes is by definition a form of non-violent civil disobedience.  And no credible threats against individual IRS agents were cited.

Opposing taxes only seems dangerous to those who wish to perpetuate this prison society.  I would even suggest that it’s far more dangerous to continue to fund an organization who wages murderous wars abroad based on lies, who builds a militarized police state at home, who removes all individual liberty in the name of safety, and who bails out criminal cartels while the innocent suffer.  The real extremists would seem to be the ones who support such a blood-thirsty organization, not the people who oppose its wicked ways.   But the FBI does their best to convince us that that sovereign citizens are dangerous extremists by warning us they can turn violent “at the drop of a hat,” as Stuart McArthur, assistant director in the FBI’s counterterrorism division, said at the press conference.

As evidence, McArthur refers to one incident where two men claiming to be Sovereign Citizens killed two Arkansas policemen after an argument.  Because this isolated and highly suspect incident is hardly worthy of labeling an entire philosophical group as violent, McArthur desperately tries to dignify the reason for the FBI’s alert with other, even more vague examples:

The FBI and the Reuter’s reporter must have forgotten to check the Sovereign Citizens’ own website to see their very clear statement in complete disagreement to all allegations made in this article:

We do NOT endorse non-payment of taxes or violence to achieve these changes. We do NOT endorse giving up a social security number and we do NOT endorse violence against the police or the government.

But recently, the feds somehow excused the use of a domestic drone of all things in the arrest of farmers accused of stealing a handful of cattle because the farmers were said to be Sovereign Citizens.

A concerted effort has been afoot for some time to merge local police with federal authorities to respond to the implementation of citizen spy “snitch” programs. This has been best illustrated by the role of threat fusion centers, which are integrating data from public and private sources alike — even universities.

The FBI has now made public their “Communities Against Terrorism” Suspicious Activity Reporting flyers.

I myself have seen documents like this as a former retail store owner.  One day, roughly 10 years ago, I received a flyer in my mailbox informing our establishment that we were to submit a “Suspicious Activity Report” for anyone paying with large amounts of cash (I believe it was $2,000 or more at the time).  I proceeded to throw it directly into the garbage where it belonged. I did inform my clients, though, rather than inform the “authorities” as I was directed. However, these SAR’s have clearly become much more widespread than my tiny retail shop, infiltrating nearly every facet of life in America.

Listed below are all 25 known flyers that should be read in their entirety if one wishes to discover just how far the United States has traveled in its attempt to replicate a level of citizen snitches not seen since the Stasi of East Germany.

I have included a very short summary of each .PDF, with an embedded link in the title,  to serve as a general guide of who is a potential terrorist suspect.

Let us never forget that this system of control needs our cooperation if it is to succeed.  We have to accept personal responsibility for how much further this slide toward tyranny is going to take us; and that starts by getting informed, and informing others of the extent of their plan.

1. Airport Service Providers — Includes on-craft providers: baggage, cleaners, cargo, catering, mechanics, ground crew, food service, cleaners, security, taxi, limos, and shuttles.
2. Beauty/Drug Suppliers — People who have burn marks, missing limbs, travel a long distance, nervous, who are picked up, make illogical requests (even of consumer-grade products).
3. Bulk Fuel Distributors — New customers not from the area, those using cash for large transactions, nervous, large purchases, having a rental vehicle.
4. Construction Sites — People with environmental slogans and/or anti-government slogans, banners or signs that threaten or imply violence.
5. Dive/Boat Shops — New customers reluctant to provide complete personal information, customer who does not have certification, using cash for expensive transactions, extended rentals, appearing uninterested in safety rules, experiencing guarded behavior.
6. Electronics Stores — Person who alters appearance from visit to visit (changing hair color, shaving, etc.), fills a “shopping list” of components while lacking knowledge about their use. Pays cash for large purchases.
7. Farm Supply Stores — New customers not from the area, nervous or impatient, suspicious inquiries regarding equipment specifications, failing to state legitimate use for supplies, rental vehicle, cash for large transactions.
8. Financial Institutions — No evidence for legitimate business activity, those with multiple accounts, banks, parties, and jurisdictions (layering).  Mixed deposits (money orders, third-party checks, and/or payroll into a business account).  Large volume of wire transfers, or repetitive patterns, shell entities, “pass through” points by foreign jurisdictions.
9. General Aviation — Taking flying lessons but appear uninterested, renting under vague reasons for doing so, requests to fly over specific locations without substantiated reason, taking pictures or videos of potentially sensitive locations, actions outside the norm, parking near the perimeter of airport, asking questions without substantiation.
10. General Public — Basically everything exhibited by those with an inquisitive nature: questions, note taking, drawing, annotating maps, inappropriate photos or videos, people in places where they do not belong.
11. Hobby Shops — Interest in remote-controlled aircraft, interest that does not seem genuine, possessing little knowledge of purchase, exhibiting unusual interest, exhibiting no interest, using cash for large transactions.
12. Home Improvement and Large Retail Stores — Large quantity of ammunition, firearms and ammunition out of season, combination of unusual items, interest in night vision and camouflage apparel, purchases of pipe fittings and supplies, rental vehicle, refusal to complete firearms paperwork, using cash for large transactions.
13. Hotels/Motels — There is an excellent discussion of this section in Michael Snyder’s recent article.

15. Shopping Malls – Wearing backpacks, discreet use of cameras, note-taking, or video over an extended period, several men arriving together then splitting up, continuing to communicate (dry run?), speaking to security guards, comments regarding radical theology, vague or cryptic warnings, or anti-U.S. sentiments that appear out of place and provocative.
16. Martial Arts/Paintball — Insist on paying with cash, travels long distance to participate, interest in learning offensive moves in a confined space, learning the use of hidden weapons, learning kill and restraint techniques with no occupational need, group training, uttering racist, religious, unusual, anti-US, or vague and cryptic warnings, close combat training, paintball tactics of ambush or kidnapping scenarios, operating a private facility, converting large plots of rural land to conduct these activities.
17. Mass Transportation — Altering one’s appearance, exhibiting burns, bleached body hair, concealed wires, nervous, actions suggesting use of a hidden camera, unusual comments, questioning security/facility personnel via normal means of communication, groups arriving together then splitting up and communicating via cell phone.
18. Military Surplus — Demanding identity privacy, insisting on paying with cash, suspicious comments, bulk purchases.
19. Peroxide Explosives — Unknown customer, individual requesting more information.
20. Recognizing Sleepers — Arrival from countries where violent militant Islamic groups are known to operate, long unexplained absences, fury at the West for reasons ranging from personal problems to global policies of the U.S., conspiracy theories about Westerners (e.g. the CIA arranged for 9/11 to legitimize the invasion of foreign lands), accusing the West of trying to destroy Islam.
21. Rental Cars — Reluctance to provide complete personal information, using cash, unusual questions.
22. Rental Properties — Using cash for large transactions, inquiries about local sites, refusing maintenance or service over extended time, not using property for intended purpose, unusual number of package deliveries, unusual amounts of traffic, discovery of unusual items.
23. Rental Trucks — Reluctance to provide personal information, cash for large transactions, inquiries about renting a truck with a wooden floor, questions about vehicle specifications.
24. Storage Facilities — Failing to provide complete personal information, using cash to pay fees in advance, placing unusual items in storage, disposing of tools, gloves, masks, or clothing, discarding clothes or shoes in new condition, avoiding contact with rental facility personnel, accessing facility an unusual number of times, storing items that emit unusual odors or leak liquids.
25. Tattoo Shops — Demanding identity “privacy,” paying cash, altering appearance (beard, hair style, hair color, style of dress, etc.), making racist or extreme statements, suspicious comments that suggest or appear to endorse violence in support of a cause, repeated returns with multiple individuals requesting identical tattoos, inquiries about unusual methods of tattooing or placement which could allow the concealment of extremist symbols.

These flyers also state an additional note about how you can be a part of the solution:

• Require a valid ID of all new customers.
• Keep records of purchases.
• Talk to customers, ask questions, and listen to and observe their responses.
• Make note of suspicious statements, people and/or vehicles.
• If something seems wrong, notify law enforcement authorities.

As a former store owner in one of the categories above (and a martial arts practitioner), I suggest that you completely disregard the suggestions of these reports.  Instead, I would urge common sense, reliance upon your innate “gut instincts” that nature has provided as a tool to determine what is truly wrong beyond these catch-all guidelines.  And, lastly, realize that preventing terrorism is not a “community effort” under the direction of bloated bureaucrats and their overlords. Preventing terrorism, whether State-sponsored via false flag or legitimate, should be the role of each individual’s power of discernment. It’s more efficient, more honest, and more effective.

It is the utmost duty of individuals to speak out against unsubstantiated fear mongering and the usurpation of power based on upon exaggerated threats. These exaggerated threats are often designed to lead to a paranoid culture that can be easily swayed by manipulated emotions instead of critical thinking. Furthermore, violence, coercion, and threats of consequences for non-cooperation with State dictates are the hallmarks of historical tyranny.

Finally, let’s not forget what the mere accusation of terrorism means in today’s world: indefinite detention without a trial, torture, and the end of our unalienable rights.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Anti-government extremists opposed to taxes and regulations pose a growing threat to local law enforcement officers in the United States, the FBI warned on Monday.

These extremists, sometimes known as “sovereign citizens,” believe they can live outside any type of government authority, FBI agents said at a news conference.

The extremists may refuse to pay taxes, defy government environmental regulations and believe the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard.

Routine encounters with police can turn violent “at the drop of a hat,” said Stuart McArthur, deputy assistant director in the FBI’s counterterrorism division.

“We thought it was important to increase the visibility of the threat with state and local law enforcement,” he said.

In May 2010, two West Memphis, Arkansas, police officers were shot and killed in an argument that developed after they pulled over a “sovereign citizen” in traffic.

Last year, an extremist in Texas opened fire on a police officer during a traffic stop. The officer was not hit.

Legal convictions of such extremists, mostly for white-collar crimes such as fraud, have increased from 10 in 2009 to 18 each in 2010 and 2011, FBI agents said.

“We are being inundated right now with requests for training from state and local law enforcement on sovereign-related matters,” said Casey Carty, an FBI supervisory special agent.

FBI agents said they do not have a tally of people who consider themselves “sovereign citizens.”

J.J. MacNab, a former tax and insurance expert who is an analyst covering the sovereign movement, has estimated that it has about 100,000 members.

Sovereign members often express particular outrage at tax collection, putting Internal Revenue Service employees at risk.

FBI Attempts to Make ‘Libertarians’ the Poster Children for Domestic Extremism

As the definition of a domestic extremist continues to expand to include activists for peace, animal rights, currency, natural health, liberty and other noble causes, the FBI is ready to make an example out of one group in particular: Libertarians.

The FBI held a press conference Monday to “increase the visibility of the threat” that people who oppose taxes and regulations, government intrusions into their private property, and the desire for sound money allegedly pose to local authorities. Although the FBI vaguely attempts to label this group as ”sometimes known as ’sovereign citizens’”, the description sounds an awful lot like me, and millions of other liberty-minded people in America that don’t associate with any group.

Notice the resolute use of the word “extremists” but the vague description “sometimes known as sovereign citizens.”  Yet the description that these “extremists may refuse to pay taxes and defy government environmental regulations” sounds more like General Electric than average liberty activists who the FBI clearly seems hellbent on demonizing.

Additionally, the official mission for Sovereign Citizens is to “Protect Property Rights and American Civil Liberties.”  As fierce protectors of property rights, they take environmental damage quite seriously.  Many would argue that an environmental policy governed by property rights is far more effective than the bloated EPA which is wholly owned by corporate polluters.

“Sovereign members often express particular outrage at tax collection, putting Internal Revenue Service employees at risk,” Reuters assumes.  Yet, choosing not to pay taxes is by definition a form of non-violent civil disobedience.  And no credible threats against individual IRS agents were cited.

Opposing taxes only seems dangerous to those who wish to perpetuate this prison society.  I would even suggest that it’s far more dangerous to continue to fund an organization who wages murderous wars abroad based on lies, who builds a militarized police state at home, who removes all individual liberty in the name of safety, and who bails out criminal cartels while the innocent suffer.  The real extremists would seem to be the ones who support such a blood-thirsty organization, not the people who oppose its wicked ways.   But the FBI does their best to convince us that that sovereign citizens are dangerous extremists by warning us they can turn violent “at the drop of a hat,” as Stuart McArthur, assistant director in the FBI’s counterterrorism division, said at the press conference.

As evidence, McArthur refers to one incident where two men claiming to be Sovereign Citizens killed two Arkansas policemen after an argument.  Because this isolated and highly suspect incident is hardly worthy of labeling an entire philosophical group as violent, McArthur desperately tries to dignify the reason for the FBI’s alert with other, even more vague examples:

Eighteen “such extremists” convicted of white collar fraud! That’s all you can produce with an $8 billion FBI budget?  And you wonder why people think their taxes may be better spent elsewhere?

The FBI and the Reuter’s reporter must have forgotten to check the Sovereign Citizens’ own website to see their very clear statement in complete disagreement to all allegations made in this article:

We do NOT endorse non-payment of taxes or violence to achieve these changes. We do NOT endorse giving up a social security number and we do NOT endorse violence against the police or the government.

But recently, the feds somehow excused the use of a domestic drone of all things in the arrest of farmers accused of stealing a handful of cattle because the farmers were said to be Sovereign Citizens.

After the arrest of Brent Strafford I continued to record and caugh a heated conversation between Ann and another supporter when one of them didnt know why or for what Brent was arrested. I told them I had it all on video and proceded to side with Ann that we MUST take a stand at some point. Our last sentences to each other before we were blasted with sirens were scary.

Police and organizers shut down proceedings at one of Missouri’s largest caucuses today, as Ron Paul supporters feuded with local GOP leaders.

“It’s like the Hatfields and the McCoys around here,” St. Charles County’s former GOP chairman told ABC News, after police arrived on-scene with a helicopter and removed Paul backers.

In St. Charles, an exurb of St. Louis and one of the state’s largest GOP counties, Paul supporters sought to elect their own chairman and adopt their own rules when proceedings opened — both of which are part of standard caucus rules and procedure. But as they argued with the caucus chair, Paul supporters held video cameras — against caucus rules, according to a GOP official who was there — and things became contentious.

ADDED NOTE: Here is the conclusive evidence as to who it is that has something to hide. Who wants the videos to be shown and who want to block the videos? In a free country the caucus members vote on their chairman and vote on their rules. The caucus does not come with a preordained tyrant who makes his own rules.

“It turned into a little food fight within the caucus, between the caucus chairman trying to control the caucus and certain elements, I guess with Ron Paul, trying to be heard,” said Tom Kipers, a former chairman of the St. Charles GOP, who attended the caucus at Francis Howell North High School.

An off-duty police officer, hired as security, eventually filed a trespassing complaint against the Paul supporters and notified on-duty police in the area municipality of St. Peters, who, along with police from other jurisdictions, arrested two Paul supporters and ended the caucuses early. A joint-jurisdictional police helicopter arrived on the scene. Kipers said about 10 officers arrived in total.

“Two people were arrested for trespassing after receiving numerous warnings to leave the school property,” the St. Peters police said in a press release. “Both subjects were transported to St. Peters Justice Center where they were booked for Trespassing and released on a summons.”

The St. Peters police identified the Paul supporters as Brent Safford, 45, of O’Fallon, Mo., and Kenneth Suitter, 55, of St. Charles.

Caucus business never really got started. The St. Charles GOP said in an official statement that it still plans to send delegates to the congressional-district and state conventions, but none were elected at the caucus on Saturday.

This is Brent Stafford. I wanted to let everyone know I am out of jail and am just now starting to read some of the posts about what happened today.

I am actually in my car right now, so I will post more complete details when I get to someplace where I can take more time.

First of all, thank you to everyone who was concerned and calling the police station. Apparently they were getting flooded with calls.

I was trying to reconvene the meeting in the gymnasium, according to the rules, and was told I have the leave the gym along with everyone else or I would be trespassing. I went outside and tried to let everyone know we were going to try to reconvene. Some people we trying to go to a nearby park to do so, but the rules are clear the the caucus may only be held in the location printed in the Call to Caucus printed in a newspaper 15 days prior. The ONLY place we could reconvene was at the high school.

I stood on a chair to address the crowd to let them know we were going to reconvene and what we needed to do. At that point I was approached by told I was under arrest.

Update

Okay, I have a minute, and a beer! Here is the saga.

There are three main culprits to today’s fiasco. Eugene Dokes – St. Charles County Republican Committee Chairman, Bryan Spencer – Chairman of the Caucus Committee for the St. Charles County GOP (he organized the caucus), and Matt Ehlen – The guy they installed as Chairman and who ended the meeting before conducting any business.

I approached Bryan Spencer several times, prior to the commencement of the caucus, to point out where things that were being planned violated the rules. He said, “We are going to do it this way, challenge it if you want.” He is the one that was trying to rig the process to select delegates proportionally based on who was in attendance. They conducted a straw poll as people were checked in, in violation of State GOP rules.

The meeting was supposed to begin at 10:00am. There were so many people still in line that by the time the meeting was ready to start it was just after 11:00am.

Eugene Dokes started the meeting by immediately declaring there would be no video or audio recording allowed, and that if anyone refused to stop, they would be removed by police. The entire room of what has been reported as over 2,500 people began booing and demanding that recording be allowed. It was not just Ron Paul people.

Eugene Dokes then refused to commence the meeting until everyone stopped recording. I made multiple attempts to make a point of order to address the situation, but he refused to acknowledge me. He then left the podium and called the police.

There were St. Peters Police, St. Charles Police, St. Charles County Sheriffs, and Missouri Highway Patrol that eventually came into the gymnasium and through threat of arrest made everyone turn off their cameras. Of course many did not.

Eugene Dokes then started to convene the meeting a second time.

Let me digress a moment. We had prepared very well ahead of time. I won’t get into all of the details, but the Mitt Romney people agreed to support me for Chairman. This was an incredible vote of confidence in my ability to chair and to convene a fair process. I had also hire the President of the Missouri Association of Parliamentarians who I intended to appoint for that role. I never got that chance.

Eugene Dokes appointed the Creditials Committee, Rules Committee, and Parliamentarian. These are all appointments made by the elected Chairman, not the temporary Chair which is what Eugene Dokes was acting as. The body loudly booed and started making all kinds of points of order and other declarations of disgust at the blatant disregard for the proper process.

He then opened the floor for nominations. I immediately started nominating myself multiple times. He recognized a woman, who was obviously preselected, who nominated Matt Ehlen. At that point about 2,000 people started chanting my name to be appointed. Eugene Dokes ignored that and called a hasty voice vote and declared the one nominee, Matt Ehlen, as the Chair.

Hundreds of people started calling for Division of the vote. Eugene Dokes ignored them all.

Matt Ehlen took the podium and tried to regain order. After anout 20 seconds he declared that St. Charles County would not send any delegates to the CD and State Conventions. He quickly found motions to adjourn and closed the meeting.

At that point I went to grab the parliamentarian I had hired. She had not been allowed inside, because of an arbitrary rule Bryan Spencer made up, but I had checked in with her by sticking my head through the door of and on earlier. I told her to come with me and I headed to the podium. I asked her how to reconvene and since no business had been conducted according to the Call to Convention, we had every right to reconvene.

I took the microphone and announced that people should not leave and that we would reconvene the meeting. Eugene Dokes came up and unplugged the microphone. At that point the police began ordering people out of the gymnasium.

At that point I went outside to try to reconvene the caucus, according to the rules. A number of people were going to go to another location to reconvene. I had to stop those that had not left and explained that we were required to convene at the location published 15 days prior in the newspaper or it would be invalid.

I then found where the biggest crowd had gathered and began to address the crowd. Everyone got quiet to hear me. There were 300-400 people there. I explained very quickly that we needed to begin collecting a roster, as required, and what that meant. I was immediately approached by 4 or 5 police of unknown jurisdictions who made me step down from the chair and put me into handcuffs.

When I asked what I was being arrested for, or if I was being arrested, I was told they would tell me later. Eventually I was booked for trespassing and released.

The actions of Eugene Doke, Bryan Spencer, and Matt Ehlen were the direct cause of the event getting out of control. They have tried to shift the blame, but it is all on them. If they had conducted the meeting according to Robert’s Rules and the proper order of the agenda, none of this would have happened.

I forgot to mention, I am on the St. Charles GOP Central Committee, the one Eugene Dokes is Chairman of, as well as being Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary of three different GOP Legislative Committees.

I need to remember to tell the media that. It was so crazy today I just wanted to tell what happened and forgot to mention it.

We are told that Ron Paul leaders, Brent Safford and Kenneth Suitter were arrested at this event, and that the Ron Paul supporters were dismissed from the Caucus and not allowed to reconvene at the required location. Does it seem that the GOP leadership is doing all it can to work against Ron Paul? Would they rather cut their own throats than allow honest primaries or caucus? Are you tired of their tactics?

A MODEL BILL FOR STATE LEGISLATURES FOR THE PROTECTION PROPERTY RIGHTS

For the purposes of this act, a “political subdivision” means all state, county, incorporated city, unincorporated city, public local entity, public-private partnership, or any other public entity thereof; and

WHEREAS, The United States Constitution provides that all legislative power shall be held by elected legislators in the legislative branch of government, and

Therefore, the enforcement of any laws, ordinances, regulations, codes, guidelines, or standards shall be by properly commissioned law enforcement officers. No penalties, liens, or orders will be created without a trial by jury in a constitutionally authorized court having proper jurisdiction.

There will be no civil or criminal immunity for government employees who trespass on private property, who damage private property, or who violate the constitutionally protected civil rights of any person.

There will be no laws, ordinances, regulations, codes, guidelines, or standards restricting freedom of religion, or of the right of the people peaceably to assemble, on private property, or in any area open to the public. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution requires the every place in America be zoned for religious assembly.

There will be no taking of property without the due process of a jury trial. The taking of the right to use property, or the taking of the right to control the use of property, shall be defined as the taking of the property. The creation of a lien shall be defined as the taking of the property.

    “Fascism” is a term that is frequently misused. It is often used simply as a insult for those of any opposing political camp. Yet there is a correct usage for this term.  Fascism is a governmental system which permits a certain degree of “private” property or business ownership, but the management of the property is under governmental oversight.

Fascism is a form of socialism. The term “Nazi” means NATIONAL SOCIALIST.  Fascism is not a “right wing” opposite of Communism. Fascism is a transition step in the direction of Communism.

Senate Doc # 43; SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 62 (Pg 9,Par 2) April 17th 1933: “The ultimate ownership of all property is in the State; individual so-called “ownership” is only by virtue of government, i.e. law, amounting to mere user; and use must be in accordance with law and subordinate to the necessities of the State”

   In Fascism “owners” are generally allowed to retain title to property, but are prohibited from using property in any way which does not follow some governmental law or regulation. Governmental law or regulation might be ambiguous or self-contradictory.

    After being denied any control as to what can be done with property these victimized owners are granted the privilege of paying taxes on the property. This type of symbolic ownership makes property ownership into a burden rather than a benefit. Property “owners” are also given the duty of maintaining the property, and the standards for this maintenance are dictated by government. The government might set unreasonable requirements as to the maintenance of the property, which is always at the expense of the “owner”.

    Fascism is actually the government ownership of all property except in name or “title”. Fascism allows citizens to believe that they own property, but they must use it in accordance with the mandates of government. Since the only benefit of ownership is the ability to control and use the property, the real ownership is actually in the hands of the government.

Under Fascism, whatever is a benefit of ownership is taken by government.

Whatever is a burden of ownership is imposed upon the person who is still called the “owner”.

Fascism is De Facto government ownership of private property.

Communism is the abolition of private property through actual, and admitted, government ownership. 

    The most disgusting part of the scenario is the attempt to justify the taking of property rights of the individual on the grounds that it will benefit the community as a whole. In reality the whole of the community is equally devastated by the destruction of property rights.

    Totalitarians, who have been unable to achieve their desired degree of control over our society, through other arguments, have shifted their plan of attack to an appeal that is based on the false objective of protection of a “community” value.

    The International Property Maintenance Code is a massive accumulation of “standards” to be imposed upon property owners. Searching for the origin of this “International Code” will only lead to the ambiguous “International Code Council”. Great diligence will locate a web page at:

The International Code Council describes itself as:

“a membership association dedicated to building safety and fire prevention, develops the codes used to construct residential and commercial buildings, including homes and schools.”

The International Code Council further states that:

“Most U.S. cities, counties and states that adopt codes choose the International Codes developed by the International Code Council.”

The term “adopt codes” is a euphemism for the creation of laws. According to our constitution, laws are supposed to be voted upon, and passed, by elected legislators, and then only enforced if these laws are constitutional.

The International Code Council describes its origin as follows:

“The International Code Council (ICC) was established in 1994 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing a single set of comprehensive and coordinated national model construction codes. The founders of the ICC are Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc. (BOCA), International Conference of Building Officials…”

Even though the International Code Council describes itself as an American private organization, it uses the term “International” in its name.

The International Code Council describes itself as a private organization, yet it provides detailed instructions as to how municipalities can “adopt” these “codes”, and give them the FORCE OF LAW.

With this FORCE OF LAW municipalities will cite The International Property Maintenance Code as the authority to order property owners do follow a myriad of mandates that will boggle the minds of average citizens. No part of the property is ignored. This even includes yard work, parking of vehicles, and painting.

This coat of paint on the face of tyranny does nothing to alter the essence of fascism. The struggle against totalitarianism is now including the new playing field of MUNICIPAL governments. And as do most totalitarians, the fascists always say they want to take power “for our own good.”

Mussolini defined fascism: in The Political and Social Doctrine of Fascism:

“Anti-individualistic, the fascist conception of life stresses the importance of the State and accepts the individual only in so far as his interests coincide with those of the State, which stands for the conscience and the universal will of man as a historic entity…. The fascist conception of the State is all-embracing; outside of it no human or spiritual values can exist, much less have value…. Fascism is therefore opposed to that form of democracy which equates a nation to the majority, lowering it to the level of the largest number…. We are free to believe that this is the century of authority, a century tending to the ‘right’, a Fascist century. If the 19th century was the century of the individual (liberalism implies individualism) we are free to believe that this is the ‘collective’ century, and therefore the century of the State.”

Columbia University Professor Robert O. Paxton has written that:

“Fascism may be defined as a form of political behavior marked by obsessive preoccupation with community decline (emphasis added), humiliation, or victim-hood and by compensatory cults of unity, energy, and purity, in which a mass-based party of committed nationalist militants, working in uneasy but effective collaboration with traditional elites, abandons democratic liberties and pursues with redemptive violence and without ethical or legal restraints goals of internal cleansing and external expansion.”

Of course this is an open door for corruption. The coercion placed upon one person is often the creation of income for some other insider cohort of the bureaucrats, or even for the bureaucrats themselves. The government that “robs Peter to pay Paul” will always have the support of Paul.

The most important thing to understand about Fascism is that it progresses through stages. It begins with government “regulating” business. Then it progresses into government actually managing the business. When government manages an entire industry there are no longer any competing enterprises, but there is just one government monopoly. No longer is there any regulation of that monopoly, because the “regulator” is actually the senior partner in the enterprise. Great care is taken to create the appearance that everything is for the benefit of the people. In reality the people are exploited by insiders both in and out of government. In the final analysis it all comes down to money and power for the few.

Of course, the ultimate stage of fascism is national centralization of power at the highest level. At this stage the central government controls every industry, and every municipality. Like a pack of wolves, each part of this monster contributes to the strength of the whole. The control over goods and services will be used to control, and monitor, the people. Control of health care is the power of life and death. Control of communications is the ability to stifle dissent. Control of food, water, shelter, and electricity is control of the ability to survive. The ramifications go on and on.

Private property rights are essential to liberty. The more secure private property rights are, the more individuals can protect themselves against the attacks of politicians and bureaucrats. Limitations on private property rights results in coercion, plunder and tyranny.

William L. Shirer wrote, in The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich:

“Amidst this labyrinthine organization and all the multitude of offices and agencies of the Ministry of Economics and the Four-Year Plan and the niagara of thousands of special decrees and laws even the most astute businessman was often lost, and special lawyers had to be employed to enable a firm to function. The graft involved in finding one’s way to key officials who could make decisions on which orders depended or in circumventing the endless rules and regulations of the government and the trade associations became in the late Thirties astronomical.”

By William L. Shirer (Simon and Schuster) 1990 :262)

As in all forms of tyranny the “endless rules and regulations of the government” creates a mechanism for a subtle form of terrorism that can be used against those who might try to defend their rights. Government now has the ability to impose the selective enforcement of law against any subject who might resist oppression. Any protest of the destruction of liberty will be met with a myriad of new citations for other contrived “violations”. The tactic will usually terrorize the victim, or simply wear him down, until he just decides to go along. 

Usually the victim will be told that these citations do not need to be put before a real judge and a jury of peers, as our constitution requires.  Instead, the victim will be required to “exhaust his administrative remedies” before seeing anything that appears similar to the justice system that is defined in our constitution. This process is more accurately called being exhausted BY administrative remedies. This is the time consuming frustration of being tried by a so called “administrative judge” who is an employee of the accuser. The accuser’s agent generally rules that the accuser was right. 

A murderer would be tried before a real judge and a jury of peers. A property owner, who is accused of not cutting his lawn often enough has no such rights.

If the property owner fails to do as he is told quickly enough, then the government will appear on his property with bulldozers and a wrecking crew and simply demolish and level his property. The property owner will receive a bill for the cost of destroying his property. If he fails to pay that bill, then the land that is left after destroying his property will be sold at public auction to satisfy this lien.     

The United States Constitution promises (in the Fourth Amendment) that there will be a right of the people to be secure from being deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; and that no private property shall be taken without just compensation. The Seventh Amendment  defines the due process, (where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars) as a trial by jury.  

The Declaration of Independence includes the following:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Private property rights are an essential part of the pursuit of happiness.

A progression occurs in the deterioration from liberty into totalitarianism. There are a number of measurable parameters that can be readily used as a measure, and to define, the loss of freedom. The central measurement is the tabulation of what the people actually control. Of course that which the people control is diminished every time that any function is given over to government. Whatever the government is allowed to control becomes an increase in the power of government and a loss of liberty to the people.

Every time that the government increases its power we are told that there is some benefit for the people in that increase in the power of government. The increase in the power of government is camouflaged by the assertion that the people are receiving more “services” from government. When government provides a service we should never forget the fact that the government has the ability to use force against its customers, and against its competitors,

Often the first step in this progression is that we move from services being provided by several competing private entities, to services being provided by a government regulated monopoly.  Often the next step is that we move to services being provided by a monopoly that is operated by the government itself.

When services are provided by several competing private entities the customer has the ability to choose between those competing private entities. The customer might be influenced by price, or by the quality of the service, or by any other factor that is important to that customer.

When services are provided by a government regulated monopoly the customer has no ability to choose between competing entities, but the assertion will be made that the customer will be protected from the abuse of the monopoly by virtue of the regulation from the government. Of course this assertion is based on the theory that the government has no goals of its own in the regulation of the monopoly, and that the government has no bias of any sort.

When services are provided by a government monopoly the customer has no ability to choose between competing entities. More importantly, there is no longer any way to make the assertion that the customer will be protected from the abuse of the monopoly by the regulation from the government.  Of course there will be a claim that the government will regulate itself. At best, this scenario is the fox protecting the hen house.

Of course the jump from services that are provided by several competing private entities, to services that are provided by a government monopoly can be made without going through the stage of services that are provided by a government regulated monopoly.

We re-iterate that when government provides a service we should never forget the fact that the government has the ability to use force against it customers, and against its competitors.  Let us consider a few typical examples:

The Town of Benito Junction decides to go into the business of collecting the trash. Soon there is a law that requires everyone to use the service that is being provided by the Town of Benito Junction. Next the charge for that service is added to the property owner’s tax bill. Now if the property owner fails to pay this charge it becomes a lien on the property. If the property owner does not satisfy this lien then the property will be sold at public auction. The consumer should compare this scenario to the worst problem that he could have ever had with Joe’s Garbage Service. When the law was passed, requiring everyone to pay taxes for trash collection, the claim was that the trash, including old furniture, would be picked up if it was brought to the curb. Then is you put out any old furniture you get a “notice of violation” ordering you to do the work that you paid the city to do.

Adolph Village is providing water and sewer. Soon there will be a law that requires everyone to use the water and sewer service that is being provided by Adolph Village. Next there will be a law that requires everyone to get a “permit” from Adolph Village before they are allowed to install a well or a septic tank. Then it becomes difficult or impossible to obtain a “permit” from Adolph Village to install a well or a septic tank.

Meanwhile Adolph Village employees will be going outside of Adolph Village, and offering to let property owner’s connect to their sewer lines, and to build new sewer lines outside of Adolph Village. In order to connect to the sewer lines provided by Adolph Village, property owners must sign a contract with Adolph Village. In addition to giving over the easements to construct the sewer line across their property, there are a few other provisions in this contract. The property owners also agree that, if their property ever becomes contiguous to the boundaries of Adolph Village, then the property will be annexed into Adolph Village with no need for a vote on annexation. The property owners might think that the possibility of their property becoming contiguous to the boundaries of Adolph Village is remote. What they do not understand is that one part of the sewer line is already inside of Adolph Village. Combine this fact with the reality that ever property owner on the sewer line has signed the same contract. Now annexation proceeds, like dominos falling, all the way to the end of the sewer line.

The charge for water and sewer, at any given time in the future, will be whatever Adolph Village says it is. How much did your well and septic tank cost?

Now that your property has been annexed into Adolph Village you have had a visit from the “code enforcement inspectors”. The “code enforcement inspectors” notify you of several violations, which must be corrected within a specified period of time. You will need to cut down several trees, trim your hedges, rake up all parts of the yard, and re-paint your house. You will also be required to dispose of the Mercedes Benz that you have parked in the back yard. But you are in luck. Co-incidentally, the “code enforcement inspector’s” father is in the auto salvage business. The code enforcement inspector’s father will give you $50.00 for that Mercedes Benz, and he will tow it away before the deadline. Will you thank him for his help?

The blatant assertion that there is no such thing as private property rights has become so audacious that some municipalities have even made a “law” that strips from the property owner the right to park his own car in his own front yard! 

You also have a rental house that gets water and sewer from Adolph Village. The first time that this rental house becomes vacant you are told that there is a $45.00 “processing fee” to change the name on the water account from the renter’s name to your own name. There will be another $45.00 “processing fee” to change the name on the water account from your own name to the next renter’s name. This $45.00 “processing fee” will occur every time that the name on the water account changes. To get water or sewer service you must sign a contract. Remember that you are required by law to get water or sewer service, and you are prohibited from installing a well or a septic tank. Then, in effect, you are required by law to sign this contract. No one seems to remember that a contract that is signed under duress is invalid. In order to sign this contract you must furnish your social security number. You must agree to pay the default bills of your renters, and you must agree that if the property ever becomes contiguous to the boundaries of Adolph Village, then their property will be annexed into Adolph Village with no need for a vote on annexation.

Some municipalities are even asserting that a property owner must obtain a “business license” to rent property.  Black’s Law Dictionary defines “license” as: “The permission by competent authority to do an act which, without such permission, would be illegal, a trespass, or otherwise not allowable.” In short, a license is permission to do something that would be illegal without that license. In a free country, is it illegal to own property, or to rent, buy, or sell property?  Of course these municipalities will even assert the right to charge a fee to the property owner for violating his property rights.

A free citizen does not require permission from the government to enjoy the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Property rights are a part of the pursuit of happiness. Here is one of the essential differences between freedom and tyranny. In fact, the licensing of “rights” is a hallmark of the onset of tyranny.

When they tell you that you are required to replace the siding on your house, they will also tell you that you are not allowed to do it yourself. You must hire a licensed contractor to do it. The “licensed contractor” paid the city for his license. The “licensed contractor” will also pay the city for a “building permit”.  The “licensed contractor” will include these costs in his bill to you.

“Government is not reason; it is not eloquence; it is force. Like fire, it is a

dangerous servant and a fearful master.” -

  –  George Washington

 If you want to know who is the servant, and who is the master, just determine this:

Who is asking for permission, and who is granting (or denying) permission?

Does government accept the fact that they operate with the consent of the governed, or does government tell the governed that they need a permit to peacefully interact with their fellow citizens?

The free citizen does not need permission from government to enjoy the peaceable use of his property. The government needs permission, from the people, for every use of force that they seek. Permission, from the people is only possible where people would have the right to use force on their own behalf.

The proper function of government is the protection of life, liberty, and property. Government is an agency of force. The use of force is only morally justifiable if it is in self-defense, or in the defense of someone else, who has authorized us to act in their behalf. Government is the agency which we have collectively authorized to act on behalf of the entire population. A law is a statement of a responsibility which is required by government through the use or the threat of the use of force. Everything that government does involves the use of force. Government uses force to compel the compliance with each of it laws, by providing penalties for violation of laws. Laws may require a specific action from the citizen or they may prohibit a specific action of a citizen. At the very least, in all cases, the actions of government are funded by tax revenues that are taken from citizens through the use, or threat of the use of force. This means that a moral government may only do those things, for which the use of force, would be morally justifiable.

When government uses force beyond the specific consent of the governed, or beyond the only moral justification for the use of force, then government is in violation of ITS PERMIT.

Beyond the lack of a moral justification for the agency of force to become a vender of goods and services there is a more fundamental problem. The hard reality is that the fascist mixture of government and business can never exist for very long without the habitual use of governmental force becoming the central factor in the government’s standard operating procedures.

In the private sector the customer is king. When we negotiate with government we understand that government has the power to coerce what no private company would ever even request.

It is a common error to assume that government should promote or provide everything that the people see as good, and prevent everything that the people see as bad. To remain free people must find other ways to solve all but a few of their problems.

The individual rights for every human being, and government coercion, are opposites.

Yet, at the same time, we recognize the fact that the weaker need to be protected from the stronger. Protection is the only reason that we allow government to exist, and is the only legitimate function of government. When government is not limited to its only legitimate functions, then the people need to be protected from their protectors.

All that needs to be done, to protect individual rights, is to limit government to protecting life, liberty, and property. The limitation of government, historically, has been a difficult task; in that criminals will seek to control government, and to use it as an instrument of plunder.

Our founding fathers wrote, in the Declaration of Independence, that governments are instituted among men to protect our rights, and that they derive their just powers from the consent of the governed. The governed citizens have no authority to give consent to the government for any action, that they; as individuals have no right to perform. We have no authority to authorize government to use force, when it is not justified by the need for defense. Each time that government acts, we should be able to ask for the moral justification for this use of force.

In any discussion of expanding the function of government beyond its legitimate function of protecting life liberty and property there is a common sense question that should be asked:  Is government doing such a good job of protecting life liberty and property that it seems wise to divide their efforts into other areas? Is there no more crime in your area? If the government cannot perform its primary function, why would we think it wise to give them other duties?

Government must be limited to protecting us from aggressors. There is no human agency; which can morally use force to require or prohibit anything, unless one citizen would have a moral right to use force in the same situation. If there is not a citizen whose life, liberty or property is being put at risk, then there is no government function.

The ends do not justify the means. As soon as you begin to plead the benefits of allowing government to cross this line, there is nowhere else to close the gate. If we take the first step onto the slippery slope, then we slide all the way to the chasm.

One of the grievances against the king that was stated in The Declaration of Independence was the following:

“He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.”

No matter what type of dictatorship you study you will always find a multitude of offices, and swarms of officers to harass the people, and eat out their substance. This is the machinery of tyranny and the essential power of despotism.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Anti-government extremists opposed to taxes and regulations pose a growing threat to local law enforcement officers in the United States, the FBI warned on Monday.

These extremists, sometimes known as “sovereign citizens,” believe they can live outside any type of government authority, FBI agents said at a news conference.

The extremists may refuse to pay taxes, defy government environmental regulations and believe the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard.

Routine encounters with police can turn violent “at the drop of a hat,” said Stuart McArthur, deputy assistant director in the FBI’s counterterrorism division.

“We thought it was important to increase the visibility of the threat with state and local law enforcement,” he said.

In May 2010, two West Memphis, Arkansas, police officers were shot and killed in an argument that developed after they pulled over a “sovereign citizen” in traffic.

Last year, an extremist in Texas opened fire on a police officer during a traffic stop. The officer was not hit.

Legal convictions of such extremists, mostly for white-collar crimes such as fraud, have increased from 10 in 2009 to 18 each in 2010 and 2011, FBI agents said.

“We are being inundated right now with requests for training from state and local law enforcement on sovereign-related matters,” said Casey Carty, an FBI supervisory special agent.

FBI agents said they do not have a tally of people who consider themselves “sovereign citizens.”

J.J. MacNab, a former tax and insurance expert who is an analyst covering the sovereign movement, has estimated that it has about 100,000 members.

Sovereign members often express particular outrage at tax collection, putting Internal Revenue Service employees at risk.

As the definition of a domestic extremist continues to expand to include activists for peace, animal rights, currency, natural health, liberty and other noble causes, the FBI is ready to make an example out of one group in particular: Libertarians.

Although the FBI vaguely attempts to label this group as ”sometimes known as ’sovereign citizens’”, the description sounds an awful lot like me, and millions of other liberty-minded people in America that don’t associate with any group.
They also sound like Ron Paul supporters.

Notice the resolute use of the word “extremists” but the vague description “sometimes known as sovereign citizens.”  Yet the description that these “extremists may refuse to pay taxes and defy government environmental regulations” sounds more like General Electric than average liberty activists who the FBI clearly seems hellbent on demonizing.“Sovereign members often express particular outrage at tax collection, putting Internal Revenue Service employees at risk,” Reuters assumes.  Yet, choosing not to pay taxes is by definition a form of non-violent civil disobedience

.  And no credible threats against individual IRS agents were cited.

Opposing taxes only seems dangerous to those who wish to perpetuate this prison society.  I would even suggest that it’s far more dangerous to continue to fund an organization who wages murderous wars abroad based on lies, who builds a militarized police state at home, who removes all individual liberty in the name of safety, and who bails out criminal cartels while the innocent suffer.  The real extremists would seem to be the ones who support such a blood-thirsty organization, not the people who oppose its wicked ways.

  

But the FBI does their best to convince us that that sovereign citizens are dangerous extremists by warning us they can turn violent “at the drop of a hat,” as Stuart McArthur, assistant director in the FBI’s counterterrorism division, said at the press conference.

We do NOT endorse non-payment of taxes or violence to achieve these changes. We do NOT endorse giving up a social security number and we do NOT endorse violence against the police or the government.

But recently, the feds somehow excused the use of a domestic drone of all things in the arrest of farmers accused of stealing a handful of cattle because the farmers were said to be Sovereign Citizens.

A concerted effort has been afoot for some time to merge local police with federal authorities to respond to the implementation of citizen spy “snitch” programs. This has been best illustrated by the role of threat fusion centers, which are integrating data from public and private sources alike — even universities

.

The FBI has now made public their “Communities Against Terrorism” Suspicious Activity Reporting flyers.

I myself have seen documents like this as a former retail store owner.  One day, roughly 10 years ago, I received a flyer in my mailbox informing our establishment that we were to submit a “Suspicious Activity Report” for anyone paying with large amounts of cash (I believe it was $2,000 or more at the time).  I proceeded to throw it directly into the garbage where it belonged. I did inform my clients, though, rather than inform the “authorities” as I was directed. However, these SAR’s have clearly become much more widespread than my tiny retail shop, infiltrating nearly every facet of life in America.

Listed below are all 25 known flyers that should be read in their entirety if one wishes to discover just how far the United States has traveled in its attempt to replicate a level of citizen snitches not seen since the Stasi of East Germany.

I have included a very short summary of each .PDF, with an embedded link in the title,  to serve as a general guide of who is a potential terrorist suspect.

Let us never forget that this system of control needs our cooperation if it is to succeed.  We have to accept personal responsibility for how much further this slide toward tyranny is going to take us; and that starts by getting informed, and informing others of the extent of their plan.

1. Airport Service Providers — Includes on-craft providers: baggage, cleaners, cargo, catering, mechanics, ground crew, food service, cleaners, security, taxi, limos, and shuttles.
2. Beauty/Drug Suppliers — People who have burn marks, missing limbs, travel a long distance, nervous, who are picked up, make illogical requests (even of consumer-grade products).
3. Bulk Fuel Distributors — New customers not from the area, those using cash for large transactions, nervous, large purchases, having a rental vehicle.
4. Construction Sites — People with environmental slogans and/or anti-government slogans, banners or signs that threaten or imply violence.
5. Dive/Boat Shops — New customers reluctant to provide complete personal information, customer who does not have certification, using cash for expensive transactions, extended rentals, appearing uninterested in safety rules, experiencing guarded behavior.
6. Electronics Stores — Person who alters appearance from visit to visit (changing hair color, shaving, etc.), fills a “shopping list” of components while lacking knowledge about their use. Pays cash for large purchases.
7. Farm Supply Stores — New customers not from the area, nervous or impatient, suspicious inquiries regarding equipment specifications, failing to state legitimate use for supplies, rental vehicle, cash for large transactions.
8. Financial Institutions — No evidence for legitimate business activity, those with multiple accounts, banks, parties, and jurisdictions (layering).  Mixed deposits (money orders, third-party checks, and/or payroll into a business account).  Large volume of wire transfers, or repetitive patterns, shell entities, “pass through” points by foreign jurisdictions.
9. General Aviation — Taking flying lessons but appear uninterested, renting under vague reasons for doing so, requests to fly over specific locations without substantiated reason, taking pictures or videos of potentially sensitive locations, actions outside the norm, parking near the perimeter of airport, asking questions without substantiation.
10. General Public — Basically everything exhibited by those with an inquisitive nature: questions, note taking, drawing, annotating maps, inappropriate photos or videos, people in places where they do not belong.
11. Hobby Shops — Interest in remote-controlled aircraft, interest that does not seem genuine, possessing little knowledge of purchase, exhibiting unusual interest, exhibiting no interest, using cash for large transactions.
12. Home Improvement and Large Retail Stores — Large quantity of ammunition, firearms and ammunition out of season, combination of unusual items, interest in night vision and camouflage apparel, purchases of pipe fittings and supplies, rental vehicle, refusal to complete firearms paperwork, using cash for large transactions.
13. Hotels/Motels — There is an excellent discussion of this section in Michael Snyder’s recent article.
14. Internet Cafes — There is an excellent discussion of this section in Michael Snyder’s recent  article.
15. Shopping Malls – Wearing backpacks, discreet use of cameras, note-taking, or video over an extended period, several men arriving together then splitting up, continuing to communicate (dry run?), speaking to security guards, comments regarding radical theology, vague or cryptic warnings, or anti-U.S. sentiments that appear out of place and provocative.
16. Martial Arts/Paintball — Insist on paying with cash, travels long distance to participate, interest in learning offensive moves in a confined space, learning the use of hidden weapons, learning kill and restraint techniques with no occupational need, group training, uttering racist, religious, unusual, anti-US, or vague and cryptic warnings, close combat training, paintball tactics of ambush or kidnapping scenarios, operating a private facility, converting large plots of rural land to conduct these activities.
17. Mass Transportation — Altering one’s appearance, exhibiting burns, bleached body hair, concealed wires, nervous, actions suggesting use of a hidden camera, unusual comments, questioning security/facility personnel via normal means of communication, groups arriving together then splitting up and communicating via cell phone.
18. Military Surplus — Demanding identity privacy, insisting on paying with cash, suspicious comments, bulk purchases.
19. Peroxide Explosives — Unknown customer, individual requesting more information.
20. Recognizing Sleepers — Arrival from countries where violent militant Islamic groups are known to operate, long unexplained absences, fury at the West for reasons ranging from personal problems to global policies of the U.S., conspiracy theories about Westerners (e.g. the CIA arranged for 9/11 to legitimize the invasion of foreign lands), accusing the West of trying to destroy Islam.
21. Rental Cars — Reluctance to provide complete personal information, using cash, unusual questions.
22. Rental Properties — Using cash for large transactions, inquiries about local sites, refusing maintenance or service over extended time, not using property for intended purpose, unusual number of package deliveries, unusual amounts of traffic, discovery of unusual items.
23. Rental Trucks — Reluctance to provide personal information, cash for large transactions, inquiries about renting a truck with a wooden floor, questions about vehicle specifications.
24. Storage Facilities — Failing to provide complete personal information, using cash to pay fees in advance, placing unusual items in storage, disposing of tools, gloves, masks, or clothing, discarding clothes or shoes in new condition, avoiding contact with rental facility personnel, accessing facility an unusual number of times, storing items that emit unusual odors or leak liquids.
25. Tattoo Shops — Demanding identity “privacy,” paying cash, altering appearance (beard, hair style, hair color, style of dress, etc.), making racist or extreme statements, suspicious comments that suggest or appear to endorse violence in support of a cause, repeated returns with multiple individuals requesting identical tattoos, inquiries about unusual methods of tattooing or placement which could allow the concealment of extremist symbols.

These flyers also state an additional note about how you can be a part of the solution:

• Require a valid ID of all new customers.
• Keep records of purchases.
• Talk to customers, ask questions, and listen to and observe their responses.
• Make note of suspicious statements, people and/or vehicles.
• If something seems wrong, notify law enforcement authorities.

As a former store owner in one of the categories above (and a martial arts practitioner), I suggest that you completely disregard the suggestions of these reports.  Instead, I would urge common sense, reliance upon your innate “gut instincts” that nature has provided as a tool to determine what is truly wrong beyond these catch-all guidelines.  And, lastly, realize that preventing terrorism is not a “community effort” under the direction of bloated bureaucrats and their overlords. Preventing terrorism, whether State-sponsored via false flag or legitimate, should be the role of each individual’s power of discernment. It’s more efficient, more honest, and more effective.

It is the utmost duty of individuals to speak out against unsubstantiated fear mongering and the usurpation of power based on upon exaggerated threats. These exaggerated threats are often designed to lead to a paranoid culture that can be easily swayed by manipulated emotions instead of critical thinking. Furthermore, violence, coercion, and threats of consequences for non-cooperation with State dictates are the hallmarks of historical tyranny.

Finally, let’s not forget what the mere accusation of terrorism means in today’s world: indefinite detention without a trial, torture, and the end of our unalienable rights.

Follow the above official State guidelines for reporting “potential terrorism” at your peril.

Anti-government extremists opposed to taxes and regulations pose a growing threat to local law enforcement officers in the United States, the FBI warned on Monday.

These extremists, sometimes known as ’sovereign citizens,’ believe they can live outside any type of government authority, FBI agents said at a news conference.

The extremists may refuse to pay taxes, defy government environmental regulations and believe the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard.

Notice the resolute use of the word “extremists” but the vague description “sometimes known as sovereign citizens.”  Yet the description that these “extremists may refuse to pay taxes and defy government environmental regulations” sounds more like General Electric than average liberty activists who the FBI clearly seems hellbent on demonizing.“Sovereign members often express particular outrage at tax collection, putting Internal Revenue Service employees at risk,” Reuters assumes.  Yet, choosing not to pay taxes is by definition a form of non-violent civil disobedience

.  And no credible threats against individual IRS agents were cited.

Opposing taxes only seems dangerous to those who wish to perpetuate this prison society.  I would even suggest that it’s far more dangerous to continue to fund an organization who wages murderous wars abroad based on lies, who builds a militarized police state at home, who removes all individual liberty in the name of safety, and who bails out criminal cartels while the innocent suffer.  The real extremists would seem to be the ones who support such a blood-thirsty organization, not the people who oppose its wicked ways.

  

But the FBI does their best to convince us that that sovereign citizens are dangerous extremists by warning us they can turn violent “at the drop of a hat,” as Stuart McArthur, assistant director in the FBI’s counterterrorism division, said at the press conference.

Last year, an extremist in Texas opened fire on a police officer during a traffic stop. The officer was not hit.

Legal convictions of such extremists, mostly for white-collar crimes such as fraud, have increased from 10 in 2009 to 18 each in 2010 and 2011, FBI agents said.

Eighteen “such extremists” convicted of white collar fraud! That’s all you can produce with an $8 billion FBI budget?  And you wonder why people think their taxes may be better spent elsewhere?

We do NOT endorse non-payment of taxes or violence to achieve these changes. We do NOT endorse giving up a social security number and we do NOT endorse violence against the police or the government.

But recently, the feds somehow excused the use of a domestic drone of all things in the arrest of farmers accused of stealing a handful of cattle because the farmers were said to be Sovereign Citizens.

A concerted effort has been afoot for some time to merge local police with federal authorities to respond to the implementation of citizen spy “snitch” programs. This has been best illustrated by the role of threat fusion centers, which are integrating data from public and private sources alike — even universities

.

The FBI has now made public their “Communities Against Terrorism” Suspicious Activity Reporting flyers.

I myself have seen documents like this as a former retail store owner.  One day, roughly 10 years ago, I received a flyer in my mailbox informing our establishment that we were to submit a “Suspicious Activity Report” for anyone paying with large amounts of cash (I believe it was $2,000 or more at the time).  I proceeded to throw it directly into the garbage where it belonged. I did inform my clients, though, rather than inform the “authorities” as I was directed. However, these SAR’s have clearly become much more widespread than my tiny retail shop, infiltrating nearly every facet of life in America.

Listed below are all 25 known flyers that should be read in their entirety if one wishes to discover just how far the United States has traveled in its attempt to replicate a level of citizen snitches not seen since the Stasi of East Germany.

I have included a very short summary of each .PDF, with an embedded link in the title,  to serve as a general guide of who is a potential terrorist suspect.

Let us never forget that this system of control needs our cooperation if it is to succeed.  We have to accept personal responsibility for how much further this slide toward tyranny is going to take us; and that starts by getting informed, and informing others of the extent of their plan.

1. Airport Service Providers — Includes on-craft providers: baggage, cleaners, cargo, catering, mechanics, ground crew, food service, cleaners, security, taxi, limos, and shuttles.
2. Beauty/Drug Suppliers — People who have burn marks, missing limbs, travel a long distance, nervous, who are picked up, make illogical requests (even of consumer-grade products).
3. Bulk Fuel Distributors — New customers not from the area, those using cash for large transactions, nervous, large purchases, having a rental vehicle.
4. Construction Sites — People with environmental slogans and/or anti-government slogans, banners or signs that threaten or imply violence.
5. Dive/Boat Shops — New customers reluctant to provide complete personal information, customer who does not have certification, using cash for expensive transactions, extended rentals, appearing uninterested in safety rules, experiencing guarded behavior.
6. Electronics Stores — Person who alters appearance from visit to visit (changing hair color, shaving, etc.), fills a “shopping list” of components while lacking knowledge about their use. Pays cash for large purchases.
7. Farm Supply Stores — New customers not from the area, nervous or impatient, suspicious inquiries regarding equipment specifications, failing to state legitimate use for supplies, rental vehicle, cash for large transactions.
8. Financial Institutions — No evidence for legitimate business activity, those with multiple accounts, banks, parties, and jurisdictions (layering).  Mixed deposits (money orders, third-party checks, and/or payroll into a business account).  Large volume of wire transfers, or repetitive patterns, shell entities, “pass through” points by foreign jurisdictions.
9. General Aviation — Taking flying lessons but appear uninterested, renting under vague reasons for doing so, requests to fly over specific locations without substantiated reason, taking pictures or videos of potentially sensitive locations, actions outside the norm, parking near the perimeter of airport, asking questions without substantiation.
10. General Public — Basically everything exhibited by those with an inquisitive nature: questions, note taking, drawing, annotating maps, inappropriate photos or videos, people in places where they do not belong.
11. Hobby Shops — Interest in remote-controlled aircraft, interest that does not seem genuine, possessing little knowledge of purchase, exhibiting unusual interest, exhibiting no interest, using cash for large transactions.
12. Home Improvement and Large Retail Stores — Large quantity of ammunition, firearms and ammunition out of season, combination of unusual items, interest in night vision and camouflage apparel, purchases of pipe fittings and supplies, rental vehicle, refusal to complete firearms paperwork, using cash for large transactions.
13. Hotels/Motels — There is an excellent discussion of this section in Michael Snyder’s recent article.

15. Shopping Malls – Wearing backpacks, discreet use of cameras, note-taking, or video over an extended period, several men arriving together then splitting up, continuing to communicate (dry run?), speaking to security guards, comments regarding radical theology, vague or cryptic warnings, or anti-U.S. sentiments that appear out of place and provocative.
16. Martial Arts/Paintball — Insist on paying with cash, travels long distance to participate, interest in learning offensive moves in a confined space, learning the use of hidden weapons, learning kill and restraint techniques with no occupational need, group training, uttering racist, religious, unusual, anti-US, or vague and cryptic warnings, close combat training, paintball tactics of ambush or kidnapping scenarios, operating a private facility, converting large plots of rural land to conduct these activities.
17. Mass Transportation — Altering one’s appearance, exhibiting burns, bleached body hair, concealed wires, nervous, actions suggesting use of a hidden camera, unusual comments, questioning security/facility personnel via normal means of communication, groups arriving together then splitting up and communicating via cell phone.
18. Military Surplus — Demanding identity privacy, insisting on paying with cash, suspicious comments, bulk purchases.
19. Peroxide Explosives — Unknown customer, individual requesting more information.
20. Recognizing Sleepers — Arrival from countries where violent militant Islamic groups are known to operate, long unexplained absences, fury at the West for reasons ranging from personal problems to global policies of the U.S., conspiracy theories about Westerners (e.g. the CIA arranged for 9/11 to legitimize the invasion of foreign lands), accusing the West of trying to destroy Islam.
21. Rental Cars — Reluctance to provide complete personal information, using cash, unusual questions.
22. Rental Properties — Using cash for large transactions, inquiries about local sites, refusing maintenance or service over extended time, not using property for intended purpose, unusual number of package deliveries, unusual amounts of traffic, discovery of unusual items.
23. Rental Trucks — Reluctance to provide personal information, cash for large transactions, inquiries about renting a truck with a wooden floor, questions about vehicle specifications.
24. Storage Facilities — Failing to provide complete personal information, using cash to pay fees in advance, placing unusual items in storage, disposing of tools, gloves, masks, or clothing, discarding clothes or shoes in new condition, avoiding contact with rental facility personnel, accessing facility an unusual number of times, storing items that emit unusual odors or leak liquids.
25. Tattoo Shops — Demanding identity “privacy,” paying cash, altering appearance (beard, hair style, hair color, style of dress, etc.), making racist or extreme statements, suspicious comments that suggest or appear to endorse violence in support of a cause, repeated returns with multiple individuals requesting identical tattoos, inquiries about unusual methods of tattooing or placement which could allow the concealment of extremist symbols.

These flyers also state an additional note about how you can be a part of the solution:

• Require a valid ID of all new customers.
• Keep records of purchases.
• Talk to customers, ask questions, and listen to and observe their responses.
• Make note of suspicious statements, people and/or vehicles.
• If something seems wrong, notify law enforcement authorities.

As a former store owner in one of the categories above (and a martial arts practitioner), I suggest that you completely disregard the suggestions of these reports.  Instead, I would urge common sense, reliance upon your innate “gut instincts” that nature has provided as a tool to determine what is truly wrong beyond these catch-all guidelines.  And, lastly, realize that preventing terrorism is not a “community effort” under the direction of bloated bureaucrats and their overlords. Preventing terrorism, whether State-sponsored via false flag or legitimate, should be the role of each individual’s power of discernment. It’s more efficient, more honest, and more effective.

It is the utmost duty of individuals to speak out against unsubstantiated fear mongering and the usurpation of power based on upon exaggerated threats. These exaggerated threats are often designed to lead to a paranoid culture that can be easily swayed by manipulated emotions instead of critical thinking. Furthermore, violence, coercion, and threats of consequences for non-cooperation with State dictates are the hallmarks of historical tyranny.

Finally, let’s not forget what the mere accusation of terrorism means in today’s world: indefinite detention without a trial, torture, and the end of our unalienable rights.
