Virginia was once a proud leader in the defense of liberty. Many great patriots and founders of this nation were Virginians. Now Virginia is ruled by people who have no respect for the Constitution that was ratified by their forefathers. Virginia lawmakers now threaten gun confiscation, and want to make gun ownership a felony.
Virginia counties are now activating constitutional militia units in accordance with the Second Amendment.
Free people can be armed. Slaves and prisoners can never be armed. Every SLAVE MASTER, and every TYRANT, always disarms his victims. If a government does not trust its people to be armed, the people cannot trust their government. The famous “shot heard around the world” was fired when the British tried to take away the guns. The stark reality is that once the people have been disarmed all resistance to tyranny will be at the risk of death. Your right to defend yourself is a fundamental part of your inalienable right to life. Anyone who tries to take away your right to defend yourself is trying to take away your right to life. Whatever you have a right to do, in defense of your life, you have a right to do in defense of your right to keep and bear arms.
The last time a government tried to disarm our people was April 19, 1775.

On December 10, 2019, Tazewell County of Virginia passed two resolutions. The first one was to declare themselves a Second Amendment sanctuary county. This movement has been sweeping across Virginia, with 76 out of 95 counties now following suit.
Local law enforcement agencies are refusing to enforce unconstitutional laws.
Lawmakers in Virginia are now threatening to call out the National Guard if law enforcement refuses to enforce unconstitutional laws.
Citing laws like the Constitution, the Virginia Constitution, or posse comitatus has had no effect.
We are not dealing with people who respect law.
We are dealing with people who respect nothing other than strength.
If they are stupid enough to try this then they will meet with what they respect.
If they are stupid enough to try this the only peaceful solution would be for the National Guardsmen to refuse these illegal orders.

Of course a duly elected sheriff could deputize just about everyone in the county if he wanted to do so.
How many National Guardsmen does it take to disarm a few thousand Sheriff’s deputies?
Second Amendment states:
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Leftists now claim that the Militia is only the National Guard.
But there was no such thing as the National Guard when the Second Amendment was ratified.
The Militia is the whole of the population that is NOT controlled by the government.
WHAT KIND GOVERNMENT WOULD USE TROOPS AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLE?
Can the National Guard fight to whole population?
Will the National Guard obey unconstitutional and illegal orders?
How many National Guardsmen will go over to the side of the people?
How many National Guardsmen are willing to die to enforce tyranny?
The day that government tries to disarm the people is their last good chance to resist tyranny.
It will be a sad day when freedom loving Americans are forced to kill other Americans in defense of their own liberties.
As Virginia lawmakers prepare to violate the constitutional right to keep and bear arms with a bill that would make most guns in the state illegal, Tazewell County has formed an official active militia as per the Second Amendment to the Constitution.
Not only did Tazewell County pass a Second Amendment Sanctuary resolution, but they have also officially begun to form a militia. Law Enforcement Today reports:
Just this past Tuesday, on December 10th, the Board of Supervisors from Tazewell County passed two different resolutions in light of controversy circling those who are pro-gun. The first resolution declared the county to be a second amendment sanctuary. This is not at all surprising to see, as 76 out of 95 counties, 9 out of 38 independent cities, and 13 towns have adopted second amendment sanctuary resolutions.
The second item on the agenda was the proposition of establishing a militia in the county. When both of the resolutions passed, the crowd cheered loudly in support of the decisions. Also, the resolutions didn’t exactly pass by a small margin; the votes were unanimous, with more than 200 citizens standing by in support.
County Administrator Eric Young explained why the county has formed a militia:
“Our position is that Article I, Section 13, of the Constitution of Virginia reserves the right to ‘order’ militia to the localities. Therefore, counties, not the state, determine what types of arms may be carried in their territory and by whom. So, we are ‘ordering’ the militia by making sure everyone can own a weapon.”
Thus, if anyone from the state tries to remove the Sheriff from their elected office because they refuse to enforce unjust laws, those state officials will be faced with a lawful militia composed of citizens within the state.
Now there is a big debate going on in Virginia.
The debate is about the authority of the state versus the authority of the county.
This debate seems to be ignoring the authority of the people.
The State of Virginia seems to have forgotten that all government authority is derived from the consent of the governed.
The State of Virginia seems to have forgotten that we the people, have been endowed by our Creator with the inalienable right to life, and that the right to self defense is an integral of that inalienable right to life.
